Perfect Escape

As férias de sonho existem e estão mais perto do que pensam. Neste post vou falar sobre as minhas férias num destino bem próximo, as Canárias.

As Canárias são um arquipélago espanhol no Oceano Atlântico, ao largo de Marrocos, constituindo uma Região Autónoma da Espanha. As Canárias são constituídas por várias ilhas e nós optamos por visitar a Gran Canária. O objectivo era descansar e aproveitar ao máximo a piscina, praia e o bom tempo que se  faz sentir nesta ilha. Ficamos em Puerto Rico, onde dizem ser a ilha mais soalheira da região e menos ventosa. 

O Hotel escolhido foi o Hotel Marina Bayview, um hotel fantástico, um espaço enorme com muito boas condições e a vista de frente para a marina de cortar a respiração. Acordar e ter vista privilegiada para a marina não tem preço. A praia de Puerto Rico é uma praia pequena mas muito acolhedora onde o mar está sempre calmo, ideal para famílias com crianças. 

Estas férias foram essencialmente para descansar e foi tão bom não fazer nada. Sabem aquele sentimento de férias em que o objectivo é quanto menos fizer melhor e assim foi. Manhãs e tardes bem passadas na piscina, bebidas e comidinha what else? Um dia vamos voltar tenho a certeza, até porque quando estamos a ver de destinos para viajar Gran Canária é sempre mencionada. Costumo dizer que devíamos aproveitar outros destinos que ainda não conhecemos mas sinto que um dia vou voltar e mais uma vez ser feliz (porque não acredito na expressão que não devemos voltar onde já fomos felizes). A viagem nunca é a mesma, é voltar com outros olhos, com outras experiências...

The Canary Island, a Spanish archipelago off the coast of Northwestern Africa, are rugged volcanic isles known for their black and white sand beaches. 

The Canary Islands are made up of several islands and we wanted to visit Gran Canaria. For this holiday we wanted to rest, enjoy and make the most of the pool, beach and the good weather. We stayed in Puerto Rico, where they say to be the sunniest island in the region and less windy.

We stayed on Hotel Marina Bayview and it was fantastic, the space was huge with very good facilities, the view to the marina is breathtaking. Waking up and having a gorgeous view of the marina is priceless. The beach of Puerto Rico is small but very cozy beach where the sea is always calm, ideal for families with children.

These holiday were essentially to rest, have fun and it was so nice not doing nothing. You know that holiday feeling where you just want to enjoy and less you do the better!  Mornings and afternoons well spent in the pool, drinks and food what else? 

One day we will return I am sure, every time we are discussing places to go Gran Canaria is always mentioned. I often say that we should go and visit other places that we haven't met but I feel one day i will go back to Gran Canaria and be happy again (because I do not believe in the expression that we should not go back where we were already happy) The trip is never the same, the return is never return , we will  return with other eyes, with another experience ...
