Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur foi o destino escolhido para dizer adeus à viagem Asiática e à melhor viagem de sempre. Foram dois dias em que o principal foco era sim conhecer a cidade, alguns dos pontos emblemáticos mas também aproveitar para descansar. Kuala Lumpur é a capital da Malásia, e como uma boa metrópole, tem muito para oferecer. Embora não seja um destino muito popular uma vez que os turistas optam pelo o pais vizinho Tailândia aconselho a fazerem uma paragem neste que é um país riquíssimo pela sua pluralidade cultural e pelas belezas naturais.  

Em Kuala Lumpur é obrigatório visitar as tão famosas Petronas Tower. São 88 andares e 452 metros de altura, sendo considerado o sexto edifício mais alto do mundo. Para quem quiser subir poderá fazê-lo, claro que a entrada não é gratuita. A vista deve ser fantástica mas optámos por não subir. Aconselho a visitarem as Torres à noite, as Torres iluminadas são brutais e com sorte ainda podem assistir a um show de água com luzes e efeitos. 

Outro ponto obrigatório são as Batu Caves. Uns dos templos mais conhecidos e visitados por turistas. Tem um estátua hindu gigante cerca de 43 metros de altura  dedicada ao Lord Murugan logo à entrada, é conhecido pela famosa escadaria que leva até ao topo, são 272 degraus (não é assim tão mau subir) Vale a pena! Lá dentro existem três caves que guardam templos e santuários hindus. Nesta visita vão ter a companhia de macacos. Cuidado com o maquina fotográfica estes macaquinhos não parecem muito amigáveis... Este templo é pago e não é permitido levar as pernas à mostra.  Mas não se preocupem podem alugar tipo um lenço e cobrir as pernas (foi o que me aconteceu). 

Claro que existem muitos mais pontos de atracção nós decidimos visitar estes dois e aproveitar para descansar no hotel. A piscina era fantástica com uma vista de cortar a respiração para as Torres. A piscina ficava no 51º andar por isso a vista não podia ser melhor.

Miles and Smiles Away 

Kuala Lumpur was the destination chosen to say goodbye to the Asian travel and the best trip ever. It was just two days where the main focus was to get to know the city, some of the emblematic points but also take advantage of the rest and enjoy the hotel. Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia, and as a good metropolis, it has a lot to offer. Although it is not a very popular destination since the tourists opt for the neighboring country Thailand I recommend to stop in this country very rich by its cultural plurality and the natural beauties.

In Kuala Lumpur it is mandatory to visit the famous Petronas Tower. They are 88 floors and 452 meters high, being considered the sixth tallest building in the world. For those who want to go to the top you can do it, of course the entrance is not free. The view must be fantastic but we chose not to climb. I advise you to visit the Towers at night, the illuminated Towers are top and with luck you can still watch a water show with lights and effects.

Another attraction point are the Batu Caves. One of the most popular temple visited by tourists. It has a giant Hindu statue of Lord Murugan just at the entrance, is known for the famous staircase that leads to the top, they are 272 steps (not too bad climb) Worth it! Inside there are three cellars guarding Hindu temples and shrines. In this visit you will have the company of monkeys. Be careful with your camera these little monkeys do not look very friendly ... This temple is paid and you are not allowed to show your legs. But do not worry you can rent like a kind of scarf and cover your legs (this happened to me - it was too hot to wear trousers!)

Of course there are many more points of attraction we decided to visit these two and enjoy the hotel. The hotel pool was fantastic with a breathtaking view of the Towers. The pool was on the 51st floor so the view could not be better.
